Bar in a historic building with decor that has evolved slowly, piece by piece over the last 130 years. The bar room is cavernous for a late 19th century building. It probably originally served train passengers on short stops and had to accommodate an entire train's worth of customers in the time it took to refuel a steam locomotive. Trains still pass by a few times an hour. The food is made from scratch and with care. I stop whenever my schedule allows me to.
